Video problem

I have a problem with playing videos in the screensaver. I want to play an wmv movie but on some computers the screen is just blank. The movie plays fine in windows media player so it shouldn't be a problem with the codec.

The problem is in both win XP and on win 2000. I have tried this on 7 computers and it works on 4 and you get the blank screen on 3.

I also tried other screensaver making programs but I got simular problems there.

Anyway I converted the movie into mpeg2 just to see if it was a problem with the wmv codec but that didn't help. It does work on all computers except one if I convert the movie into mpeg1 but the file is getting to big so I would really like to use wmv.

And ideas? I have tried anything I can think off the whole weekend.

If you use specific video compression, like DivX or MPEG4, you need to have the video decoder (codec) installed in the target computer for your video file format.
