Auto Replace on File-Rename

Post by cotesystems »

Can you add an Auto-Replace-on-File-Rename feature. Basically, this would get triggered whenever a file name is changed within the project explorer. A prompt would appear asking if all the project files should be scanned for references to the original file name. If the user answers yes, then a list would be displayed of all the file names that contain the old file name. The user can select check marks beside individual files that they want the file name to be auto-replaced in, or they can select an auto-replace-all option. Or something similar to this.

Thanks.

The idea is interesting and worth thinking of. for now, however, I'd suggest to use Find and Replace in Files which should let you do this almost as fast.
