thoughts about debugger feature

Post by sockeplast »

Hi all,
I just want to start by saying that i really like Rapid PHP so far.

I am running it with the built in server for php scripts preview and I have set up php and xdebug using the package from Blumentals.

As i have been using Dreanweaver up until now I see the strong advantages with having the preview function and the syntax check. (Wifh works great by the way).

What I still can not figure out is what use I have with xdebug and the "Run and Debug" functions.
It would be great if someone can shed some light on the uses of this function and how it is different from looking for errors using the preview function.

Thanks. :D

I'm planning to do some videos on this but it will take ages ... in general, you can debug the PHP scripts using these features.
