Support for Mozilla PRISM

Post by Emulman »

I develop web apps for shops, offices, etc. to manage their activities with the triad (Apache-MySQL-PHP); recently Mozilla labs have released PRISM which allows to launch a web apps easily as an windows app on the desktop! so why not to include PRISM in Webuilder to check soon a web app without to exit from the IDE and load and configure PRISM?

Seems quite specialised though. About 80% of WeBuilder users wouldn't require this functionality.

it's right, but web apps are the future of the web: no more enormous apps written in Visual basic with gigabytes of space on an hard disk, difficult upgrades, etc..only a web site which allows to use it like these desktop apps with a minimum of space on the server! and Prism allows to launch a web app clicking on its icon on the desktop, exactly like any application on your computer! so i think it would be very useful simply to check the app online too with PRISM, for example incorporating it into Webuilder..
