  • Create separate topic for each problem request. Do NOT post a number of non-related problem reports in a single topic;
  • Give your topic a meaningful title. Titles such as "A question," "Bug report" and "Help!" provide others no clue what your message is about;

W3C Validation issue

Post by richinri »

Why, all of a sudden, does the W3C Validation reject EVERY page I try to validate saying no DOCTYPE is specified when these exact same pages validated fine last month and NONE of them have had any changes?
I upload the same pages and check them online and they validate. They won't validate if you do the validation from inside the editor of the latest webbuilder. Why not?

You may need to provide more evidence/information before anyone here can help you. Please at least copy and paste your doc type line and the message that the validator is giving you.

It may not be enough but would at least be a starting point.

HTML Validator Issue

Post by richinri »

I have a reported a problem when Webuilder and HTML Validator is installed on the same machine. When any updates are made to Webuilder the W3C validation function in Webuilder ceases to function. One must completely remove HTML Validator and reinstall it.
I do not know which program has the issue but it is very annoying.
