Missing icon?

Post by Steve(spt) »

Hi, I'm a new user of Webuilder and love it!

In version 9.0.0.95 is there a missing menu option / icon?

Tools > HTML tidy > ....
Config tidy
????

should there be an icon in the next option under the config? I take it that option runs the HTML tidy?

Can you provide a screenshot? v9.0.0.95 seems fine for me.

Edit: Or do you mean an icon for each Tidy configuration? If so, then no, they're not meant to have icons.

Fixed my problem.

You need to do a reinstall. Before you do that delete the "Blumentals" folder in your C:\Documents and Settings\%yourusernane%\Application Data\

The C:\Documents and Settings\%yourusernane%\Application Data\ location may be hidden. You need to set it to view so you can delete it, use the windows folder options > View and set the "Show hidden files and folders"

Once re-installed the Tidy pre set options are there. Why does this happen? Well I thinks its to do with the installer not deleting or cleaning the application data folder out when an update install is done, by deleting this folder it's like clean new install. - I hope this helps someone! May be this is also the solution to the other thread with this problem ?

Thanks for posting your fix. Folks reading this should be aware that the Application Data folder contains a number of settings that you may wish to keep (snippets, projects...) so back it up before deleting it and copy back in the files you want to keep (library.xml, snippets.xml...)
