I on Webuilder 9.0.0.96 running a new computer with WinXP Pro - fully updated.

I tried formatting a CSS page using the default settings and it stripped out all my comments. When I checked "remove comments" it left them in. So this feature works in reverse. Also, when using the check CSS command it trips on helvetica saying that it's a possible spelling error

Yes, it is true. But this same problem was reported just some days ago, last comment to that post was the same day you have reported it again:

Yes, this is also a known problem and there is a fix available; it should be released in one of the following updates.
