getting old includes using glasses to identify what you like to see on a XLga screen.
Really difficult to decide whether it displays a "(" or a "{".
Is there a possibility to make this more decisive?
I just like to change the appearance of the signs "(){}",
I do not want to change the settings of the font-size or the display resolution.

You might try experimenting with different fonts. some display them "stronger" than others.

used http://www.high-logic.com/fontcreator.html and finally modified the font
now can see again
