Please, add "serif" & "san-serif" to css font autocomplete

Post by syrupcore »

They are required by the w3c spec for css font declarations but don't come up in the autocomplete list.

Certainly no big deal to type by hand but seems to fit the existing model of "if it's in the spec, it's in the autocomplete list."

Thanks,
Will

Not directly in the drop-down (as I guess they're the installed fonts) but if you click 'Choose font...' then you can select it from the master dialog box. So its half there! ;)

Good catch. Blumentals just rocks for having pretty much complete coverage of the spec (what drew me in the first place actually). Those options in that top left box are directly from: http://www.w3.org/TR/CSS21/fonts.html#g ... t-families, which rules for a standards nerd like me.

I'm thinking that this was just missed, as opposed to intentional, but what do I know.
