Is it possible to disable extended clipboard in WeBuilder?
Subject said it all: is it possible to disable extended clipboard in WeBuilder? I can't find a setting in the options, so wondered if it was possible.
I've been having issues with copying from WeBuilder and pasting into my text editor (MetaPad) and wanted to check to see if the issue was with the extended clipboard feature in WeBuilder.
Thanks
Gareth

At the present moment it is not possible, but I'll try to add this possibility in th next version. Actually I am seriously considering it!

Hi Karlis,
I've just installed version 9.41 and initial tests are looking positive -- thanks; I'd actually gone back to version 9.2 to get around that issue (I'd missed version 9.3 while my wife was having twins!).
In other news: you may be interested that I blogged about WeBuilder 2008 last night: http://blog.garethjmsaunders.co.uk/arch ... eaver-cs4/.

Gareth, congratulations to you and your family, then!
I will be working on the clipboard issue in-depth once again, so everything should get sorted out. If here is anybody who would like to lend a helping hand with testing (you must be one of those having zillion of problems with clipboard), pm me and I'll send you debug version.

I wasn't having any trouble with the clipboard until I started using WeBuilder 2008 in Windows 7 (64-bit). Since then I've had a truly annoying problem that seems to involve the clipboard (every time I copy-and-paste anything Windows 7 wants to report an error to Microsoft.) I'll have to download a copy of 9.41 and see if that eliminates the issue for me.

I wrote the above from work, but my memory was a bit faulty. I actually get the error message "CLI has stopped working" when I insert a new line. I installed 9.41.103, but it didn't solve the problem. Is there a work around?Dunrobin wrote:I wasn't having any trouble with the clipboard until I started using WeBuilder 2008 in Windows 7 (64-bit). "CLI has stopped working" ("command line interface has stopped working") has nothing to do with clipboard, it has to do with PHP.exe on your system and you are getting it because live syntax check is on and PHP.exe is crashing for its own reasons.
Turn off the syntax check under:
Options - Preferences - PHP Settings
