Trying to create what I think should be a simple top of webpage banner with Animated Pictures. Size of images at the moment are 800 wide x 400 depth, just trying to run 6 images on a fade out. Every time I crash out with a message about DIB Handler. The only exit route is via Task Manager and End the program.
Any clues would be great

Re: Easy Gif Animator - Crash Out
Fade efect caonsumes a lot of frames and since the size of a frame is rather big, the load might be too big.
Try choosing other effect type or decreasing the smoothness of the fade greatly.

Thank you for the tip. The issue is that the site that I am trying to do this for requires a full site width set of pictures that change nicely. You are looking at pics that are going to be at least 800 wide if not 1000 pxl wide and probably 2-300 pxl deep. I will try different animations to see what the result is.

I'm having the same issue. Is there any way to fix this?
I really can't NOT use the fade effect for this project. Any other suggestions?
Thanks.

Hi,
You should read following article describing limitations of a GIF file format:

If you need sophisticated animations for your web age, you should probably use Flash or some type of JavaScript sideshow.
