Time out FTP a Bug?

Post by jazzbuilder »

Hello,

is there a time out function if no acitivity iworking on ftp? I noticed that after a while the ftp button for disconnect is out of work (no reaction on click). The statusbar is "Busy..." ?

Also I have noticed, if I change a html document and downloading it from ftp, it dont overwrite the file in the project folder.
Can somebody confirm this behavior?

greetings, andreas

Frankly, I do not know, we use keep-alive technique with random commands being sent to FTP at random intervals. The commands are taken from CuteFTP client, so they should be correct. How is timeout possible?

The button being greyed out and not-clickable is a bug that we are going to fix.

just upload you stuff to the ftp then disconnect manually, this way you wont get the timeout problem.
webuilder 2010 version 10.02 (10.0.2.118) is the best !!

yes we know that, what we are looking for here is a solution, not an alternative. this also helps blumentals in improving their unparalleled software :).
