Webuilder build 104- problems with searching

Post by MikeyB »

Morning,
Got two little problems that I'm sure wasn't in the previous version, both with searching.

1:
When using the search toolbar rather than going through the Search -> Find menu.
After the search has reached the end of the document and the "Search string not found" message box appears, after clicking the OK button or pressing Esc to close the message WeBuilder no longer has focus, so pressing keys has no affect. Have to click on the WeBuilder window with the mouse before I can do anything again.
This happens every time. It doesn't happen if I do Search -> Find from the menu as the Find

2:
Twice now, again when doing a search from the toolbar and the "Search string not found" message appears, it is impossible to close the message and WeBuilder eventually hangs and eventually shows as Not responding in Windows Task Manager, and I have to end it.

I know I've never had number 2 happen before, and I'm certain number 1 didn't happen before either.

Cheers,
Mike

1) Will look into the search issue. As a workaround, disable the "search finished" box in preferences. I have it so, this is why I did not run into this problem.
2) Nothing has been changed with preview. Most likely you have broken your installation of Mozilla control or something.

Another problem with the Search toolbar.

Occasionally when I bring up the list of previous searches in the toolbar, and select one, WeBuilder completely hangs and is then "Not Responding"

Nothing can get WeBuilder going again, and no messages are shown, have to end the task.
Going to disable the search toolbar for now.

I suspect that I know where is the problem. I might even have fixed it in development version, but I must re-check. What you can try is to use Esc, Enter and Alt + F4 keys. The issue is that a modal dialog box with OK button appears behind all windows and you can not see it, but it is there.
