Mouse wheel system setting ignored in WebBuilder

Post by davenv »

I'm just now trying out WeBuilder. I don't know if this is a "feature" or bug, but it's annoying. I have my mouse wheel settings the way I like them, but in WeBuilder it just scrolls one line per wheel click, which as you may have guessed, is not how I have it set. Is there a way to tell WeBuilder to pay attention to my mouse setting or is this a feature request? I've looked through the preferences and don't see anything.

Thanks,
Dave

What are your mouse wheel settings? I just re-checked this on my Vista, it seems to work as expected. If I set 3 lines, the wheel scrolls every 3 lines, if I set 1 line, it scrolls every one line. So it seems to work. Can you try it on another computer, just to see whether the problem happens on your computer only?

I have it set to a page at a time. Doesn't work on either computer I've tried it on.

Right you are. As nobody else seems to be using this kind of setting nobody has ever noticed this. I will add this to the list of known issues and we will see what can be done about this.

I just downloaded and installed the latest version, and now my touchpad scroll functions on my laptop don't work. Don't know if this is related or not, but it is a pain.

That is something else, nothing in our software related to scrolling was changed.
