Hi,
A minor bug: when I try to rename an existing file in the File Explorer panel to a name starting with a dot (e.g. ".htaccess"), Rapid PHP pops up an error message "You must type a file name." and does not accept the name.
Bernhard
Edit: I just found out that this seems to be a problem with Windows, as the same thing happens in Windows Explorer.

Yeah - Windows Explorer doesn't let you do this because then you end up with a filename with only an extension, and by default Explorer does not show extensions. So you'd end up with a file listing in Explorer that had what appeared to be a nameless file:

Remember that Explorer needs to work well for people who know next to nothing about filename extensions. In my opinion, Explorer should change the behavior if you've turned on the option to show extensions (or is it turning off an option to hide extentions?). But MS never listens to my ideas...
An interesting thing is that (at least on Vista) when Explorer is displaying a file that is "only an extension", it displays the whole filename even if it's set to hide extensions. In other words, the 'problem' doesn't occur, so it should let you make that change if you want.
I'm just guessing that RapidPHP uses the same shell API as Win Explorer.

Re: [Rapid PHP 9.5.2.106]: minor problem with file renaming
Probably setting an option to show file extensions in Windows Folder Options can help here? I know that such option exists because I have it enabled on my laptop.

Thanks, I have the option to show extensions (and hidden files etc.) in Explorer always enabled, but there's no difference. However, I found that I am able to rename the files the way I want using the CMD line prompt.
