A pref in the options, or even better, in the view-menu would be great. Something like "Preview Pane" would totally rock there!

Preview-Pane deactivatable in v2010?
I would love to have the opportunity to hide those 4 Preview-Buttons (Code Editor, Preview, Horizontal Split, Vertical Split), as i don't ever need them.

Or, Make Them More Useful...
+1
I don't use them at all either, it turns out, because they lack a primary function, which is to highlight the Source Code that is generating a selection in the preview pane, and visa-versa. ( I have a feature request for this here: Feature Request: Select Preview Area, Highlight Related Code )

+100 from me.
I've accidentally gone onto a preview tab and unintentionally run scripts with bad consequences before now.

+1 to toggle from code to preview to code with a keyboard shortcut (RIP Homesite). because then i don't have to ctrl + s, alt tab, f5.

but I love ctrl + s, alt tab, f5! I actually do ctrl+r since it's more comfortable in that string of shortcuts.carlosmossman wrote:+1 to toggle from code to preview to code with a keyboard shortcut (RIP Homesite). because then i don't have to ctrl + s, alt tab, f5.

wow. crazy. if it came down to it, i suppose i could adjust but i'd really miss just hitting f12. plus, i'm sure i hit ctrl+s every 10 seconds. xrefresh would be running constantly...
i'd trade all this for http://forums.blumentals.net/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=4234, though
