Short question: When are we going to test the WeBuilder 2010 Beta and when will the Final be released?

It was planned already some time ago, but once again we are delayed, because we are adding more features than initially planned and making it just a bit better + I discovered that summer is about to end and having spent most of it at the PC I decided to take a short and partial (4 hours per day) summer holiday, but recently I broke my leg (which is good news regarding WeBuilder 2010) so the holiday is off and I am back at the PC most of the time.

But in fact today the WeBuilder 2010 beta is already available upon request. If you are registered users and understand what beta means (possible quality issues), please write to our support providing your registered name and e-mail address and we will try to send you a key and download link.

Yikes! Broken bones are no joke. I hope you are recovering well and that whatever you were doing when you broke your leg was well worth it!

All the best Karlis..

Dave.

Really sorry to hear about your leg. And not having a vacation isn't a good thing, either. If you feel like it, I'm sure we're all curious to know what happened, but perhaps you'd rather not talk about it and that's ok too! :)

I've been using WeBuilder 2010 beta for a few days, liking it so far. Please release an update with keyboard shortcuts working, not having Ctrl+S (Save) and Ctrl+D (duplicate) is killing me!

UPDATE: Silly me. After posting I looked in the options menu and found that there is a Keyboard Shortcuts menu. Curiously, it's empty by default. I'd have preferred this to have default shortcuts pre-installed though. Quite a neat feature though, I've set CTRL+W to close document (like Photoshop does) and I don't think I could have done that in WeBuilder 2008.

Keyboard shortcuts should be working just fine. Probably something broke with settings. Closing the program, deleting keyboard.ini, and starting it again should fix the problem.

Iam testing the very good beta version of Webuilder 2010. I also have Webuilder 2008 (Englisch) parallel installed on my System. My beta version runs in German language. I found maybe some small bugs and hope this post is of help:

1.) I can't change all the settings in preferences within all the folders. Which means as example i cant change the settings in text editor and all its subsettings like general, view, colors, etc.

2.) The language for Project Properties is in English (Project->New Project). Same at Customize Context Menue and Script (Script->Insert Script...)

3.) The preview in Format PHP Code... doesn't work correctly. The text in the preview window is nearly unreadable.

Nevertheless i like the Beta of Webuilder 2010 ;)

Kind regards
