Round Borders vs Square

How do I create a round border for each of the frames instead of the normal square?

Not sure what you mean by "frames", if you mean animation bounds, you can not have image file with round corners, all pictures are square. What you can do is paint rounded rectangle as a base for your image and thus get an image that looks like it has round corners.
