Dual monitor, fit screen, and image quality issues

Post by clairenw »

Hi

I'm just trialling this product so don't know it very well at the moment.

I've created a swf using Flash CS4. It's 1680x1050 original size.

Here are the problems I've encountered so far:
  • When viewed on smaller 4x3 monitors, the animation becomes pixelated;
  • "Stretch to fit" both when creating AND when running the scr doesn't have an effect - instead when viewed on 4x3 you get empty space at the top and bottom;
  • "Resize to fill my screen" chops a bit off the bottom of the design;
  • When I tested using images to create a slide show I noticed that the screensaver worked on both monitors. With an swf, it does not.
Can anyone help me with this please? We're hoping to buy this product but if we can't get it to do what we want it may not be an option.

Thanks

This is due to flash animation stretching.

* "Resize to fill my screen" chops a bit off the bottom of the design;

These problems are due to changes if later Flash versions, we are currently working on improving the situation, we hope to be able to release an update within a few weeks.
