HTML not auto-completing

Post by ignign0kt »

I am using the latest version of WeBuilder.
While the auto complete option is indeed enabled, and I can call it manually by pressing Ctrl+Space... the autocomplete box does not show up automatically.
I've tried toggling the option, and even reinstalled WeBuilder. Why could this be happening?

I have noticed it doesn't pop up every now and then when expected, but this only happens in very specific circumstances. Perhaps it is the same there? If you type a less-than symbol (<) in a blank area on your html page, does it pop up then? I would have thought if it appeared using control+space it would work normally. Can you give an example of it not popping up when you think it should?

Hi,

Indeed there can be some problem with auto-complete not showing up, because it is shown only when it recognizes current cursor position (current context).
But then we need an example, so we can see the problem for ourselves, and create a fix.
Kind regards,
