Does Firefox Preview Work in WeBuilder 2010?
I've tried previewing HTML docs using Firefox browser that is availabe in WeBuilder 10.2.0.118 to no avail. Has anyone been able to make this Active X control work in the tool?
Re: Does Firefox Preview Work in WeBuilder 2010?
This works fine for me. I am assuming you mean the Mozilla ActiveX control that is installed separately rather than Firefox itself. Either way, both work as expected in WeBuilder 2010 10.2.0.121 running on my 32-bit Windows 7 boxes.
Is there any reason you are not using the latest build of WeBuilder? It is generally advisable to run the latest build of any software before saying something isn't working properly - the latest version may include a fix for the problem you are having. Also ensure you are suing the latest build of that Mozilla control - it is updated from time to time. The only issue I have seen with this is the odd occasion when I switch to Firefox preview and it doesn't render, or at least it renders a blank page. Refreshing or switching back and forth from IE to FF usually does the trick. Other than that, it works fine.
What issues are you having with it? Does it render blank or throw an error?
Regardless, I would try installing the latest version of WeBuilder and reinstalling the ActiveX control - (if running Vista/7 make sure you install both with Admin privileges) and make sure WeBuilder is not running during the control installation.
