FTP from windows to unix

Post by mark@markainsworth.com »

I am HTMLPad, and find that so far, I like HTMLPad the best among the editors that I have tried. I especially like being able to read and write directly to my web site with your built-in ftp client.

However, I have one problem with this facility. When transferring scripts (specificallly perl scripts) to a Unix server from my Windows development machine, it is neccessary to transfer in ascii mode (so the returns get stripped off). Is there a way to do this in HTMLPad. Currently I am using a different ftp client (wsFTP) to upload my scripts.

Thanks.
