[Rapid PHP] Improve syntax color setup

Post by Nisto »

First off, I'd just like to say that I've read this thread: http://forums.blumentals.net/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=3631

While this is related to that, I'd like to request more features along that...

- Can you add the possibility to change the gutter color? It really destroys the color scheme when using a dark background.
- Easier exportation and importation of styles
- Set global font/color values (like back/foreground, text-size, text-format), this is currently only possible to do via the bottom button, and it's just "global" for one programming language.

Perhaps you could rework the entire coloring system? Notepad++ has a separate menu to change colors and such, and I really like that.

I would really appreciate it if you could put some priority on this. The thread linked above is 2 years old, and it appears like there's been no change on that at all.

Thanks!

+1 here. I was really hoping for the coloring system to be improved on this new update. Perhaps something closer to Notepad++, PSPad or even gEdit. But it still a pain in the ass to change colors and have a consistent color scheme in HTML Pad (and I assume it's the same on the other IDEs as well).

It's the main issue keeping the software from being perfect... :(
