RapidPHP 2011 Date Format

Post by rjk »

I am on Windows 7. The date that appears in the Date/Time Stamp when inserted into documents as well as the date in Print Preview is showing in MM/DD/YYYY format. How can I change this to my local (Australia) format of DD/MM/YYYY?

The date format used in RapidPHP depends on Windows Date/Time settings. Open Control Panel, select Region and Language and choose English (Australia) from the Format drop down.

Thanks for the quick reply but the Region and Language is already set to English (Australia) and other programs on my computer display the date accordingly. Rapid PHP however seems to take no notice of this setting.

RapidPHP uses short date and short time formats to create date & time stamps. Take a look at this screenshot:

Yes I understand that - and on my computer the short date is set as d/MM/yyyy in Region and Language, but RapidPHP 2011 incorrectly displays today's date (10th December 2011) as 12/10/2011 instead of 10/12/2011.

Also please note that I have installed RapidPHP 2011 on a 64 bit version of Windows 7 and it displays that date correctly as per the Region and Language settings. The problem is only occuring on the computer with a 32 bit version of Windows 7 in case that helps you.
