I agree here too:
I use the "block select mode" and "code collapse for selection" etc. 'buttons' in a customized tool bar.
Since there are no built in icons, this tool bar is * V E R Y L O N G ... *
I presume adding icons should really be quite simple and would make the UI much more compact!
