After installing Beta 6 over Beta 4 (same directory) the Code Snipplets Library is gone. Well it's still there - but empty. Even my self-made snipplets dissappeared.
Another very little bug on setup: When I go through the setup (after installing) when I am asked for the directory of PHP and my htdocs it will still remember the correct path to the php-version (that didn't work on the first beta but is ok now) BUT still NOT the old htdocs-directory. Here it is always giving the default (c:\htdocs).

Re: WeBuilder 2014b6 bug: Code Library
Update: Installing Beta 7 over Beta 6: Snipplet Library still gone...
Uninstalling (without keeping the settings) and a new clean installation brings the default Library back (without my own snipplets)

Update II: Tried to repeat the error and installed an older version and over-installed Beta 7 on it. This time the problem didn't occur. The library is still there. Very strange...

I have heard horror stories about this, but this has never happened to me. In any case it is a good idea to backup settings time after time using Options -> Export Settings (the generated SZIP file is a ZIP file with all settings in it). You can then either automatically restore settings or retrieve the library.xml file. I also would like to ask you to go to your settigns directory and locate library.xml file (it even might be that there is a library.xml.bak file there as the library is backed up automatically time after time).
In the future we plan to get rid of the library xml file and to store snippets in some other way (also allow to share snippets and download them from the web), however this is one of the things we did not manage yet in 2014, because it is a huge overhaul that might take months.

This is because you added it at some point and did not remove from the list. If your mappings list would have been clean and contained only your own single mapping, you would get that.Uli wrote:Another very little bug on setup: When I go through the setup (after installing) when I am asked for the directory of PHP and my htdocs it will still remember the correct path to the php-version (that didn't work on the first beta but is ok now) BUT still NOT the old htdocs-directory. Anyways starting from the next version the wizard will appear only the first time program is installed and not on subsequent runs.
