A new member of your family : Light editor

Post by entropie »

Hello !

Just a simple question : Have you ever thought about making a simple editor belonging to the same family of RapidCSS, HTMLPad, RapidPHP and WeBuilder, which would contain only the "base features" (without any web oriented FTP... features).

This application, at an affordable price (or why not free ?), would interest many of my friends and colleagues, who are not specifically web developers, but do not want to continue to use heavy, complex and expensive applications, only to edit simple text : I introduced them WeBuilder, and they were very impressed about the "base features" of the editor, which would perfectly suit for them.

I realized that, in fact, many people around me are still looking for the *perfect editor*: light, fast to launch, with comprehensive and ergonomic interface, at an affordable price... Personally, I found this editor (for web editing), and I am convinced that adding that "light editor" to your wonderful family of editors, would not be such a big deal... And you would make so many people happy ! ;-)

Good luck, and keep going making such a good job !

E. (a very happy customer)

Yes, we have been considering this for some time now, but currently there are no specific details to give you. It might help us to know some of the things that people who don't do web development use WeBuilder for :)
