rapidphp vs webuilder

Post by poby »

I've been using WeBuilder for many years for html, css, php, javascript and ansi C. I wish there was a little more inbuilt support for the latter but it's a great editor. I never use ruby or asp or python and for sure, never will. That being the case, is there anything at all to be gained by using WeBuilder vs rapid php? Looking at the comparison page it seems there is no reason for me to have WeBuilder when rapidphp seems to do everything except ruby, asp and python.

Am I corrent? Is the only difference between the 2 programs the inclusion of ruby, asp and python in WeBuilder?

Don't dismiss python so easily, it's really lovely :) That aside, for some people having Rapid PHP is enough and it might be enough for you. I'm not sure if support for ruby, asp and python are the only differences, maybe there are some other minor differences. You can try evaluating Rapid PHP on your computer to make sure none of the features you're using are gone.
There is another unwritten advantage of using WeBuilder instead of other editors - the newest and more advanced technologies are more likely going to be supported by it first.
