Search in open files ignores left tabs

If I use "search in all open files (=tabs)", all open tabs LEFT from the active tab are ignored. When using Search & Replace, this works fine. (WeBuilder 12.0.0.148)

I can't reproduce this one, too. Can you step-by-step me?

1) Start WeBuilder
2) Repeatedly press Ctrl+N to open some new documents
3) Select e.g. the 3rd tab
4) Ctrl+F
5) enter "untitled" as search term (or anything that is in your default template)
6) select "all open documents" and NOT "from cursor" but the lower option ("gesamter Umfang")
7) click "show all"

Only document3 to X are shown in the result list below...

I did everything but it still finds in all tabs. Document3 is the first in list but the other tabs follow below.

Ah, I see. Check "Wrap at end" (Unbruch am Ende) and it will work. I'm not sure if this is a bug or feature - the whole scope, wrapping etc and their various combinations confuse me somewhat.

Looks like a feature to me, however the german translation means "line break at the end" which makes no sense at all

Can you give us a better translation? We would like to change it if it does not make sense. I should have studied German in school

I am not quite sure what this option does, beside searching "left tabs". Does "wrap at end" explain this function to you? Is it the opposite to "search current and next tabs/documents only"?

Basically, when this option is checked, Find Next searches not only to the end of the document, but "wraps" back to the beginning and continues searching from there.

I think its behaviour for "search all open documents" in combination with "find all" (not "find next") is not correct

Maybe another possible translation is "Am Ende fortsetzen" (=continue at the end) but it's not exactly what "wrap" means...

To be honest, if you've selected All open documents then that should mean just that, all of them, regardless of the Wrap at end setting which normally relates to wrapping at the end of the current document.

Find & Replace does all documents when All open documents is selected regardless of Wrap at end.
