it would be nice if you can add shortcuts to make changes between the views from code editor to preview , and vertical and horizontal splits .
hope these feature ship with upcoming minor updates .

Ok, I'll add it to the list. If you want a more urgent solution, there is a way to change these tabs with plugins using Document.PreviewTabIndex. I think I could write a plugin with commands for switching the tabs and then you can assign shortcuts to these commands.
