CTRL+Z in search dialog

Post by xtom »

Sometimes I press CTRL+Z in the search for: field in the find dialog boxes but instead of undoing my text entry in the active field it undoes my code in the editor. It always catches me by surprise and can sometimes lead to coding errors. Other shortcuts like CTRL+C and CTRL+V seem to work as expected in the dialogs though. I think it would be better for the find dialogs to capture and use the CTRL+Z aswell.

I'm not sure, I just tested SHIFT+INSERT in latest 2014 version and in an old 2011 version and it pastes into the dialog here like CTRL+V. But CTRL+Z undoes the code in the editor in both versions.
