Layout forgotten upon start-up

Post by RLN »

I'm finding that when I shut down WeBuilder 2014, when I reopen it it's forgotten my layout. For example, I've enabled the "classic" interface, moved the filename tabs from the top of the screen to the bottom, closed the files and folder preview and expanded the Library snippets list, etc. etc. This all disappears and just displays the default layout. Do I need to go through the "Manage Layouts", "Activate XYZ layout" process every single time?

Webuilder will not save the layout if it is terminated (by crash or sudden computer power-off) instead of being closed. If this is not the case, maybe something has gone wrong with the old layouts. Open in windows explorer %appdata%\Blumentals\WeBuilder\ folder and delete "layouts" from there, then try if your customizations get saved.
