Hello everybody,
I just bought HTMLPad 2016 and got a weird issue.
I can't open any file from Windows Explorer in HTMLPad 2016.
"Right click > Open with" doesn't work.
Drag and drop doesn't work too.
I tried with HTMLPad already opened or not, with a file already opened or not.
I have a fresh Windows 10 install and fresh HTMLPad install on 2 seperate computers and got the same problem.
Could you help me with that ?
Thanks in advance.
Best regards

Re: Can't open file from Windows explorer in HTMLPad 2016
Try to go to menu Options -> Preferences -> Files -> Associations and re-associate the files.
Regarding drag & drop - that might happen if the window you're dragging from has different privileges than the window you're dragging to, e.g., if you run HTMLPad as Administrator and Windows Explorer as regular user, then drag & drop won't work.
Normally HTMLPad works on Windows 10, so there must be something specific.

Thanks.
My mistake, I thought I had already restart my computers before trying this but no.
After reboot, it works just fine
