Any way to Make Date and Clock Digital text only?

Would like to see the ability to make the Calendar just show current Month - Day - Year instead of a full calendar. Most people won't be trying to stare at the small full size calendar to see the date, but a text only display in the upper corner for example of the current day, month, and year would look cleaner. The same would be true with the Clock. A digital (text) readout of the current time would look much cleaner and modern. Any way this can be added to an update or is it actually able to be done with some editing of xml files already installed.

This would require an update since digital clock and text-only calendar works way differently from the analog. I'll add it to suggestions list, thank you.
