Doesn't work with Opera?

Post by LoreeH »

I downloaded the Opera browser to try yesterday as I have been having some bog down problems with Firefox. Unfortunately it seems that Opera completely bypasses my iNet. Any idea on why this is occurring, and if there is anything that can be done about it from my end?

iNet Protector should work with any browser or other internet program for that matter. Please make sure that you have not added anything to Allowed Sites, Allowed Programs or Allowed Services.

It could also be that the Opera browser displays information that is already cached (downloaded) to your PC, try disabling internet and then opening new sites that you have never visited.

opera bypass

unfortunately, Opera does not respond to the blocking by inetprotector. i can verify that that is the case. i activated it, and then went ahead and surfed at a page NOT in my cache. (by going to a brand new page that i havent surfed previously)

the block did NOT work at all!

We have confirmed that the blocking does not work on *some* Opera versions and this is being corrected. The next update (in a couple of days) will correct this issue.
