Automatic Spellcheck Annoyance

Post by kfury77 »

I like to have automatic spellcheck on all the time, and fix any typos as soon as I see them. It's a great feature, but it really bugs me that if comment out some code, say for example, I'm hiding a link that I don't want like this...

<!-- <a href="http://www.mylink.com" target="_blank">www.mylink.com</a> -->

it then highlights "href", "www", "target="_blank"" and all the other correctly named tags as spelling mistakes! Could it please ignore HTML and other tags when commented out. It doesn't show them as typos when they're not commented out, so shouldn't while they are either.

Apart from, I'm loving WeBuilder. Keep up the good work.

Thank you for your post. Currently it is not possible to turn off spell check for comments separately. Probably this feature will be added in the future.
