I dug around a bit more in frustration and figured out it's either a bug with the dxMarManager component you're using or a setting that needs changed. I opened up the Default.lay file in a text editor and changed the DockedTop setting to 1 and DockingStyle to 2. I couldn't see the toolbar then, but ...

Can't Move the Taskbar

I'm using WeBuilder version 8.2 on XP Pro SP2 32 bit and can't seem to move my taskbar any more! When I hover over the left edge and get the four way arrow, it won't let me drag the toolbar anywhere else. I've tried deleting the layout files, but I still can't move the damn thing. I prefer having it ...

One thing to check is if you're using files on mapped drives and having network connectivity issues. I've experienced this before when working with files on a network share and the link drops. WeBuilder will hang for a few seconds and then be fine.

I seem to remember making this feature request months ago, even including the link for 3rd party integration. Any progress?

I'd also love different color settings for Form and Table tags.

I second having #5 added as I use a lot of tables and forms. As an ex-Homesite user this is a feature I do miss when debugging large pages.

Try CSE HTML Validator Lite for a free offline validator:
http://www.htmlvalidator.com/lite/

I've been using the Pro version since 1997 and it's been invaluable in catching invalid markup.

Yes, I was referring to upgrading 7.x versions. I always thought if you dismissed the wizard it would just reappear the next time I reopened WeBuilder. Thanks for the info!

Another ex-Homesite user (since version 2.0 even!) who is extremely pleased with WeBuilder. It takes a bit of work to get everything configured and get used to the new interface. One thing that helped immensely was remapping some of the keyboard shortcuts to match those in Homesite.

To clarify, I believe it's the fifth or so screen in the "first run" wizard. The path to the web server and its URL (aka used for mappings) resets to c:\htdocs and http:\\localhost intead of pulling these settings when upgrading. Every other screen of this wizard does pull my previous settings. It's ...

Web Server Settings During Upgrades

After installing an upgrade, I always have to reset my web server path and URL. All of the other screens in the wizard seem to load my previous configuration. Is there any way you can have the startup wizard pull these two settings ?

If you upgraded from a 6.x version, the old layouts will prevent some of the new features from showing up as I dsicovered. Delete your old layouts and it should appear

SQL Explorer Support for MS SQL and Access

Any chance of support for MS SQL Server and Access in a future version. Using ODBC it seems like it should feasible and would easily allow for other databases too.
