wow, with this kind of argument, webuilder would have 0 features, since there is always an app which alrerady can do it.

well, if not debugging (which would be nice) then at least syntax checking for JS. Also great would be support/integration of some AJAX frameworks.

but I want to have a kind of IDE. I do not want to switch to another application. Javascript syntax checking and debugging should be implemented within WeBuilder.

Hi,
intelligent highlighting like in php designer (http://www.mpsoftware.dk/)would be a great feature: elements of languages which are currently not edited fade away, ie if I edit the html part of a php doc all php elements fade in color.

exactly, we use SVN for version control (and actually TortoiseSVN is all we need for that, no real need for the editor to support it directly) and use MoonEdit to explain and show each other things. since there are good tools for SVN but there is a lack of full featured editor which support MoonEdit ...
