Update CSS and (X)HTML reference?

Post by erikh »

Is there a way to have the updated references for CSS and XHTML? I know I've got the option to link to or download the most recent php reference and wondered if this was possible (esp. for HTML)?

Thanks

If you would point us to an updated reference, we could consider including it in the product. At this time we only have HTML and CSS references in CHM format which we got from a source that does not update them. If anybody could provide us with a free, compact and indexed HTML and CSS references of high quality, I would be very grateful.

Hi Karlis. Take a look at this:

http://www.htmldog.com/reference/

I feel its the clearest reference I've found.

Let me know!

you can also check out the references (on the right hand side) at

These are very nice and good resources indeed, however we can not use them in our product, because they are copyrighted. I will contact the authors to see whether we can make some kind of a deal that allows us to include these references in our software.

perhaps zvon? http://www.zvon.org/index.php?nav_id=re ... &mime=html They have good stuff. They even have them all as a single chm already! :) http://www.zvon.org/Output/chm/chm_list.html

from the bottom:
Permission is granted to copy, distribute and/or modify this document under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.1 or any later version published by the Free Software Foundation; with no Invariant Sections with the no Front-Cover Texts, and with no Back-Cover Texts.
not sure if that applies but it at least looks promising.
