I think you miss the point(s). The problem is we cant use a third party apps to fix the problem. If we could have used them I would not have started this thread. The problem is real. Look around, pc's where users normally do not change the time or use a sntp function to do it for them have system ...

perform an sntp query to ensure accurate system clock
I have noticed that the system clock in all pc''s are not accurate, They are close but almost all pc's and notebooks gain/lose many seconds per week. The timefade is worst in those PC's which are used the most and/or rebooted the most. I haven't tested hibernated/standby but I suspect that could ...

1) if user has x hrs of quota given to them the amount left is displayed when they choose to connect to internet. however once connected that figure is hidden. there doesn't seem to be an easy way to get the time remaining but to disable the internet and re-enable. would be best if one could click a ...

Certainly carelessness could occur as parent surfs around. A truely easy way around that would be when you click the button to take it out of "learn" mode a popup dialog box asks "save these changes? y/n". If a mistake was made simply click "no" and Inet remains configured as before. For me that ...

"learn mode" for list of allowed sites...
While its easy to type in addresses into the list of allowed sites its not always intuitive or complete. For example, if you add "cnn.com" to the list you will find that the www.cnn.com doesn't load correctly. I think its because cnn brings in other sites (some is content, some is advertising). FYI ...

inetprotect and microsoft updates
I'm a new inetprotect customer. Have a dumb question. I have inetprotect configured to disallow internet access always. I do have a list of allowed sites as well as a few programs such as email which is allowed. My concern is I do not want to prevent microsoft's critical updates. I have added update ...
